12/04. 2025 | 10 Years of Doleco USA - A Decade of Innovation and Partnership

We are delighted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Doleco USA – a success story built on dedication, innovation, and strong partnerships. It all began with Ralph Abato, our US Managing Director, who established a close connection with our company through his collaboration with our Managing Directors Tim Dolezych and Karl-Heinz Keisewitt during the committee meetings of the WSTDA (Web Sling and Tie Down Association). With years of experience with our products in the US market and the trusted relationship developed over time, he was the perfect person to lay the foundation for Doleco USA.

The Early Years:

Growth and Team Spirit

The beginning was exciting: armed with a well-thought-out business plan, a new product line, and the development of a network of suppliers and customers, we got started. Initially, some tasks, such as order processing and accounting, were outsourced, but we soon recorded remarkable successes. In 2015, Ricky Oquendo joined the team as Office Manager.

In the early days, they worked in a small office fondly referred to as "das Boot" due to its size. With support from colleagues in Germany, business processes were continuously developed. The addition of the first field sales representatives, Tom Haughs and Bob Abrahamson, and collaboration with a logistics partner in Indianapolis further fueled our growth. Today, we are proud of our 11-member team, which has firmly established Doleco USA in the US market.

A Look to the Future:

Expansion and Digitalization

2024 not only marks the 10th anniversary but also the beginning of a new chapter: with the opening of a production facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, we are expanding our capabilities in the US to meet the growing demand for innovative load securing and lifting solutions.

At the same time, we are advancing the digitalization of our processes, including integration with our ERP system. Additionally, the relaunch of our American online presence is on the horizon, offering our customers an even more user-friendly platform.
